AI leadership

Lead the change, don't delegate it.

AI changes how work gets done, so it is a leadership decision before it is a technology one. We work with founders and leadership teams to agree where AI fits, what it may touch, who owns it and how you will know it worked, then help you take your people with you.

The guidance gap

When leaders do not set the direction, people set their own.

The pattern we see

Projects stall on alignment, not on technology.

Most AI efforts that go nowhere were not bad ideas. The leaders were not aligned, the team was not brought along, and nobody owned what happened next.

  • Licences bought for everyone, used by a few.
  • Each leader backing a different tool, in a different direction.
  • No rules on what company information may go into which AI.
  • Staff quietly worried about what AI means for their jobs.
  • No one accountable once the excitement fades.

What we decide together

Four decisions only leaders can make.

Each one written down in plain English, so your team and your systems can follow it.

1

Where AI fits

Which work it should change first, and which work it should never do alone.

2

What it may touch

The rules for company information: which AI, on which accounts, with which data, and what always needs a person to approve.

3

Who owns it

One accountable person, and a simple way for everyone else to bring ideas and problems forward.

4

How you will know

The baseline today, and the few numbers that will show it worked in six months.

Formats

Built for the people who decide.

Small rooms, real decisions, and something written down at the end of each one.

Half dayIn person

Leadership session

Where AI pays in your business, what to stop doing, the rules for company data, and who owns it. Ends with an agreed shortlist.

For the leadership team

A few weeksOne to one

Founder Program

Your own AI, running on your voice, your decisions and your best answers, so you lead from experience. You leave with a map of what to build first.

For the founder or CEO

Quarterly90 minutes

Leadership review

Progress against the roadmap, what to scale, what to stop, and what the system learned since the last review.

For the leadership team, ongoing

Taking your people with you

What leaders say next decides the rest.

Most resistance is fear that nobody has addressed. We help you say the honest thing early, and give your team a way in.

  • An AI policy your team can read in five minutes, in plain English.
  • The announcement: what is changing, what is not, and what it means for roles.
  • A champion named in each team, with time to do it.
  • Hands-on sessions for every team, built on their own work. See AI facilitation.

Questions

Before you book.

How is this different from AI strategy?

Strategy is the analysis: where AI pays, ranked, with a roadmap. Leadership is the decisions and the people: agreeing the direction, setting the rules and leading the team through it. Most clients do both, and they work best together.

Do we need a Chief AI Officer?

Usually not a new title. You need one person who is accountable, with the time to do it, and a leadership team that has agreed what they are accountable for.

Will you write our AI policy?

We draft it with you, in plain English, covering which tools, which accounts and which information. Your leadership team decides what goes in it.

Who should be in the room?

The founder or CEO and the head of each function. Small enough to make decisions, broad enough that every team has a voice.

Next

Set the direction, then bring the team.

Leadership sessions pair with a strategy for the plan, and facilitation for every team that has to make it work.
